No, it is not true, Mormon’s do not believe that the black race is cursed. That rumor comes from a misunderstanding of an incident in the Book of Mormon. We believe that God is no respector of person’s as it says in the Bible meaning that he loves all of his children, race to him does not matter, neither social status or popularity, and we as followers of Christ try to act and behave in the same way.
