Without sadness and pain, we wouldn't know what real/true happiness is.
We also come to earth because it was a commandment, and a test.

We need to be careful because, Satan and his followers were cast down to earth without a body, and try to deceive us. Satan Wants us to be as miserable as him.

Wow. This is quite a question. You're obviously a deep thinker. We believe in a plan of eternal progression, wherein God is endeavoring to make us like Him. This plan necessitates free choice, which we call "agency," so we can choose right from wrong and learn from our mistakes. We must also develop compassion and charity along the way as we gather wisdom from our experiences. Mortal life is temporary. We learn huge lessons and develop faith in Jesus Christ. Living by faith is our main goal here, as is forming relationships and families.

Matter is only subject to decay in this mortal sphere. God dwells in another sphere, in which there is no decay, as there was none in the Garden of Eden. God is more intelligent and powerful than all of us put together. He may well have resurrected Himself, but we don't have revealed scripture about this. It is very difficult to comprehend the atonement, and how Christ has suffered and given His life for our sins. He suffered God's wrath for our misbehavior, but also all of our sorrows, regrets, and shortcomings. In doing this, He satisfied the demands of justice in order to provide mercy for us, because otherwise, none of us will be pure enough to enter God's presence. Yes, it was a crime to murder the Savior, but He did come here for that very purpose, and He could not have been killed had He not purposefully laid down his life for us. As for His murderers, the wicked leaders of Judea and Rome, God is their judge. There are certain crimes for which there is no forgiveness. You can go to MormonWiki and read about Sons of Perdition, and know that Judas, who betrayed Christ, is one.... http://www.mormonwiki.com/Sons_of_Perdition

Dear Writer,

I am a little bit confused with this article. It has not explained why we abandoned our life with God to come to this world only to suffer or learn and then go back to God again. Was it impossible for us to learn and develop faith in Christ in the spirit world? What makes it impossible? How do we accept the idea of the mortal body joining with the spiritual body when we know that all matter is subject to decay? Did God resurrect his body? How did he exist before sending forth Christ into the world? If sin is something purely spiritual, how can someone else atone for another person's sins? How? Where is the justice, if the person who sins does not pay but someone who has not sinned? And not only pay but pay in the most brutalised and inhumane manner? The killing of Christ was certainly a grave crime, or was it not? How do sinners redeem themselves by committing another more grievous crime?
