This prophecy resonates with those in the Bible which predict the destruction of the wicked (and blessings for the righteous) leading up to and at the time of the second coming of Christ. This prophecy refers to the “remnant of Jacob” among the Gentiles, and could refer to anyone of the House of Israel, including “Lamanites,” who are those Indians descended from Joseph. The prophecy is similar to many in the Old Testament, wherein is promised to Israel power over her enemies. Don’t worry about the Lamanites in particular, or trying to decide who or where Lamanite descendants might be, because the prophecy is much more general than that. Essentially, if the Gentiles are righteous, they will be numbered among the righteous of the House of Israel, and receive the same blessings. If they are wicked, they will be destroyed.

Is this true?? I was told it is in 3Nephi Chapter 20 or 21.. I guess I am having a hard time understanding it.. If anything thousands of the Lamanite generations are being converted.. But with our borders in such bad shape.. does it mean the wicked amongst them?? Please help me! Thanks, Susan
